AP Executive Search strengthens its leadership with Roberto Legaz Poignon and María Trinidad Navarro on the Board of Directors

Madrid, 14 July 2024 – Spanish multinational headhunting company AP Executive Search has appointed Roberto Legaz Poignon, former Director of Development at Iberdrola Renovables, as its new General Director. Additionally, María Trinidad Navarro, former Managing Director of Soto Solar (Ekhi) and ErasmoPower2x (CPP IB fund), has joined as Advirsor-Managing Partner. This exceptional leadership duo will drive forward AP Executive Search’s renowned initiative, which, according to its clients, public institutions, and training centres, is set to become the world’s largest community exclusively dedicated to green job creation, training, technology, and sustainable business development.

The role of Roberto Legaz Poignon will be crucial to the company’s management. With his extensive professional experience in the sector, he will lead the team with a focus on growth and international expansion, working alongside Alberto Pérez Ruano, founder and chairman of the company.

María Trinidad Navarro is a Chemical Engineer who has a Master’s in Energy Management from IESE, a Master’s in Public Policy and North American Studies from the Franklin Institute, and is currently participating in the General Management Programme (PDG 2024) at IESE. She began her career at Repsol, leading international transactions in the oil, gas, and chemical sectors, expanding operations into Europe, Australia, Latin America, Canada, and the USA. She spent seven years as Head of Institutional Relations for Repsol in the USA, Canada, and Europe, before taking on the role of Head of Project Development Greenfield Iberia within Repsol Renovables. She later served as Managing Director at Soto Solar (Ekhi) and ErasmoPower2x, managing over €100 million in financing and a portfolio exceeding 1.2 GW of photovoltaic and green hydrogen production projects. Currently, Trinidad is an advisor to several governments on energy transition policies and serves as a board member for multiple companies within the sector.

Trinidad will bring strategic insight into the energy sector and emerging markets, as well as expertise in new technologies.
