Madrid, 6 November 2024 – Alberto Pérez Ruano and María Casado Jiménez representing the Spanish multinational headhunting firm for the clean energy sector, AP Executive Search, met with Daniel García Martínez, Mayor of San Esteban de Gormaz, at the Town Hall to formalise their collaboration through the signing of a mutual agreement which marked the conclusion of negotiations that began in the summer.

This partnership ushers in a new phase of joint efforts over the next twelve months, aimed at positioning the municipality and the province of Soria as a benchmark in tackling demographic challenges and depopulation.

“Our priority are the San Esteban de Gormaz locals, and we are committed to ensuring they have access to opportunities that allow them to remain in the town without having to step down their ambitions and goals.” This statement by García reflects the core principle of the collaboration, which is structured around three key pillars: attracting and retaining rural talent, decarbonisation, and innovation.

The measures and programmes implemented will not only generate the positive impact sought by both parties but will also serve as a way to attract invesment, potentially influencing the demographic and economic development of the town by encouraging business investment and the creation of qualified jobs.

“The success of this collaboration lies in adapting the programme to the needs of the town, something that, in this case, has been given by the Town Council’s clear priorities. This confirms that together, we make a great team,” stated Pérez Ruano, highlighting how this working group is the result of a synergy between two expert teams with shared objectives. This partnership will enable the combination of AP Executive Search’s extensive knowledge of the clean energy sector and its key stakeholders, with the Town Council’s understanding of the municipality’s specific needs. This integrated approach is expected to drive meaningful and sustainable progress for San Esteban de Gormaz.
